Dr. Randy Aerox

Structural Consciousness Practitioner · Oxford, England

A new framework for understanding the mind — not as a collection of symptoms to be managed, but as a physical structure with measurable coherence. Dr. Aerox works at the level of the biological system itself.

The Framework Working with Dr. Aerox

From structural engineering to structural consciousness

Dr. Randy Aerox began his career as a structural engineer, trained at Cambridge, where he spent years studying how physical systems bear load, distribute stress, and maintain integrity under perturbation. His central insight — that the nervous system obeys the same topological laws as built structures — drew him away from conventional engineering and toward the most complex load-bearing system known: the human mind.

The move from structural mathematics to therapeutic practice was not a departure from rigour. It was an extension of it. Where conventional psychiatry describes and labels what people feel, Dr. Aerox asks a structural question: is the biological receiver operating at its coherence capacity, or has something degraded the signal?

"Stable is not the same as healthy. Stable is just quiet. The question is whether the system is operating at its actual coherence capacity, or whether the noise floor has been lowered until the signal is also inaudible."

He now practises out of Oxford, England, working with a small number of patients on this emerging framework.

What is structural consciousness?

The central distinction in Dr. Aerox's work is between physical reality and image reality. Feelings, narratives, and diagnostic labels all exist in image reality — they are representations of underlying events. The underlying events are physical. They happen in the body's actual structure, and they are recorded there permanently.

Conventional approaches to mental health operate almost entirely in image reality. They ask how you feel, assign a label, and manage the representation. Dr. Aerox works at the level beneath that — at the physical reality state of the instrument itself. The goal is not to change how you feel about your situation, but to change the structural condition of the system generating the experience.

Topological Coherence

The degree to which the biological system maintains its structural integrity and operates at full signal capacity. This is measurable — not a feeling, not an impression. A physical state of the instrument.

φ The Coherence Constant

Biological systems are organised around the golden ratio at every scale, from DNA geometry to neural architecture. φ is not an aesthetic observation — it is the signature of a system that is coherent at all levels simultaneously.

Tensegrity Architecture

Load-bearing structures become more stable under appropriate stress, not less. The nervous system obeys tensegrity principles. Coherence is not achieved by quieting the system — it is achieved by correct tensioning of it.

Dodecahedral Geometry

A fully coherent conscious system exhibits self-reinforcing geometry — it stabilises under perturbation because the structure is correctly tensioned. This is the target state: not managed, not quiet — genuinely coherent.

How the work is done

Dr. Aerox does not begin with a diagnosis. He begins with a structural assessment — what is the actual condition of the biological system? Is it operating at coherence, or has the coherence been degraded by environmental load, pharmacological interference, or sustained psychological compression?

The therapeutic work is oriented toward genuine, irreversible improvement in the physical reality state of the system — not symptom management, not narrative reframing, not the lowering of the noise floor until distress becomes inaudible. The aim is to restore structural integrity, and to build a system that is genuinely load-bearing.

"The symptom is a signal from the physical reality layer. Suppressing the signal does not change what is generating it. The work is always at the level of the structure — not the representation."

The approach draws on tensegrity mathematics, topology, and the study of coherence in complex physical systems. It is a new framework — one that does not yet have a consensus name or an established clinical literature, but one that is grounded in physical principles that are not new at all.

Dr. Aerox does not offer indefinite ongoing appointments. The aim of the work is a system that no longer requires intervention — one that is stable under load because it is correctly structured, not because it has been managed into a quiet state.

Working with Dr. Aerox

The practice is based in Oxford, England, and currently accepts a limited number of new enquiries. Dr. Aerox works with individuals who are specifically interested in a structural approach — those who have found conventional frameworks insufficient and are prepared to engage with the physical reality layer of their experience.

Topological Coherence — Published Framework

The theoretical and computational foundations of the structural consciousness framework are documented in Dr. Aerox's primary research paper. Read the paper →

This is a new field. The framework is young, the clinical literature is still forming, and the approach will not suit everyone. Dr. Aerox is not interested in managing patients indefinitely. He is interested in the question of what the biological system is actually capable of when it is operating at coherence.
